Darian was born in South Wales in 1978. In the late eighties, Darian immigrated to the United States, becoming part of the rock movement. In high school, after a night of drinking, Darian impregnated his girlfriend Denise York, resulting in the birth of their son Nolan York in 1996.
Darian kept trying to shrug off the responsibility of raising Nolan, sometimes turning to crime in order to support a drug habit and also maintained an abusive relationship with Denise.
Darian later died sometime in 2004. His death was the catalyst for Denise to move to Rhode Island and Nolan to join the Kids Next Door.
